Hi all,
I have ordered a new boot opener motor for my daughters magna.
As some one has thrown out the old and replaced the aerial with a third paty one.
I assume that fitting the new motor will be a tad difficult.
Any diagrams, suggestions or directions would be greatly appreciated.

Posted in the 380 section. lol

Not the first Magna I've seen with a silly aftermarket aerial. Few about, probably have the same problem.

Junk the third party aerial and replace the whole unit, aerial and motor combined. You will need the mounting brackets and bolts too. Hopefully the aerial cable and electrical connector are still there and working. lol

If you get one with a broken aerial, the manual one is available at car parts shops, quite cheap - the electric one is quite expensive.

Looked at the manual for pictures, but no luck so far. Will try again.

EDIT: No joy. Can someone supply pictures? Maybe go to wreckers and see how an intact one is installed?

Thank you MadMax.
I did apologies for the multiple posts. I was reading posts on the DB forum as I own one and unconsciously posted the query there.
The part I managed to get was off a 2003 model so not sure if aerial would fit 1998 model.
I live in a small rural town so internet is main source of parts.
Will try to see if I can source full aerial etc as you suggest.
Failing that might have to try and adapt.
Daughter usually has bub in arms so remote would be good.
