My TP fuel sender unit is on the way out, but still in the car. Best I can source in my locality is a TM unit. Are the two interchangeable. thanks.

There is a TP one on ebay $40 right now ...I typed in magna fuel sender

no picture of either in the repair manuals
sender unit is seperate but the location is different at the back of the tanks

I have a pic of the tanks TM TN TP and they dont match
...............
not sure if the TM would be as accurate
