Hey guys,

Although this, Im sure, is the last thing people want to do I need to know how to do this.

Obvously I need a manual window mechanism + winder
Do I need to take the window out to do this?
Do I just take all those bolts from the inside of the door and that should give me proper access?

Reason is... Car has been stripped out for track use and All the wiring has gone and I need to be still able to open drivers side window.

If anyone has done this or even done the opposite please tell me how you went.

Easy job. I recently went the other way. Took about two hours, all told...... to change the mechanisms, I mean.

No, you leave the glass in place.
Easy as you like. It's just two bolts in there. Couldn't be easier.

No need to remove the glass at all
