Hi all, Just become the new owner of a te wagon. My brother has a TH manual wagon which has a blown bottom end, and ridiculous panel damage, so he's willing to let me pillage it for parts. BUT he is over 1000km away, so i dont want to get up there and to work and find out i was wrong.

The question being, is EVERYTHING (or ANYTHING) interchangeable, or am i screwed?

Both are 3.0 v6's. His is the base model (exec i think), and mine is altise.

What are you wanting to change?

Wanting to do a manual swap, may as well do the dash and ecu's, and the multi-display console (mine only has speed limit thingy)... Maybe suspension too, and my rotors are a little warped. his is mechanically (minus motor) a fair bit sounder than mine is, but body is terrible. My body is almost pristine.

Everything is compatible, except the automatic gearbox from the te will only work in other te's.

The conversion will be fine the th ecu won't fit but u wont need to swap ecu anyways.

I was hoping to go the manual one so that doesnt it have the auto add fuel on decel thingy...

th will have a BEM. TE doesn't. You might as well swap everything out.

To swap ECU you will then need to swap ALL wiring harness from bumper to bumper, dont bother

Just fix the wiring for reverse lights and the inhibitor switch and leave it at that.
