Hi Guys,
New to the site and the Magna.

I have a TH Magna which has the trip computer in the middle of the dash, problem I have is it is damn hard to see.

Don't think it's the eye sight just yet.

Clean the little cover on the front.
Turn headlights on and off, see if it changes brightness. If not, chances are it's dimmed all the time. Short of pulling it out and seeing if it has a blown globe in it (donno if it even has a globe) not much you can do other than getting another from a wreckers and hope that is better.

Same in the TJ, can be a bit hard to read - impossible if the sun is shining on it. Display was shifted to the dash/instrument cluster in the TL and TW. Much better.
I'm happy with the TJ display as long the speed alarm works. lol

As suggested, the display dims when the headlights are on. The brightness of it should adjust along with the other instrumentation using the control to right of your steering wheel.

They do have globes in them.... I can't recall the exact type, either T5 or slightly smaller. It's not a difficult job to replace the bulbs, just take your time with it so it all goes back together well.

it will have three T10 globes in there....or one ,depending on the sort.

All done and checked, globes are working but are dim, would say that it might have an issue with the lighting system. It did come good for about 2 minutes but reverted back. Any ideas or solutions.

Bit to bullet and brought one from the wreckers, easy to see now. Another problem has come about, the fuel gauge has stopped working? The low fuel light works but no movement from the gauge.
Any chance the problem may be related to the trip computer display? The one I had didn't have a clock but this one does.
Any help would be greatly accepted.

I have tested the wires at the tank sender unit, I can make the fuel light come on but there is no movement from the gauge. Does anyone know what wire colour I am looking for from the sender to the gauge?
