today I finally found a TP ELITE fuel sender unit and installed it in my TP to make the digital fuel gauge work.

Previously, with the analogue sender unit, there was no light on the digital fuel gauge, just the low fuel light always on.

After changing the sender, nothing changed on the dash, still no gauge just low fuel light.

Does this mean my elite sender is rooted, or have i stuffed up in the dash wiring.

Remove the sender unit and reconnect the wiring loom and move the float by hand with the ignition on and see if the gauge works. If not problem somewhere could be the sender you bought and the old one also faulty. Check power is available at the sender unit while you are there. Then go from there. Vee
