Basic question, as im no good with electric anything.

Will be extending my maf sensor soon to fit the cai to a gen III. just wondering what wire i need to ask for. im ok at soldering and whatever, just need to know what wire to get, because im clueless at this sort of stuff!

Just get the same size wire as what is on there. Cut one at a time, put two pieces of shrink tubing on, then the patch lead in, solder, put tubing over joints, heat, then move onto the next. When all done wrap neatly with electrical tape.

Also, get some trailer wire. 7 thread 4mm thick.

As stated, i can solder. And get the "same size wire"? this was the very question i wanted answered o.O i dont know anything about wire, i dont know what the "same size wire" is.

And i picked up the cai at a very good price, and am fully aware of how little it does, but i figure it will be better looking than the pod filter hanging by a cable tie which is installed at the moment.

If you look at the maf plug you will see the size of the wire.
Trailer wire is just fine. lol
