after doing a couple of stand still takeoff tonight i noticed that the car is piss poor when it is anything below 35000rpm. is there anything that i can put in to pick up the low end revs?
i alreay have a K&N pannel filter in it and thats the exstent of the mods so far...
oh, by the way, Magnus is a 2.6l auto TR....

to get more low down torque, you need more displacement! I guess you could bore and stroke it, but it's not cheap.
weight reduction and more weight reduction.

Yep I hear ya and the cheapest option is as above. Shed weight.
Opening up the exhuast will help a little but the motor has a high reciprocating mass and internal friction so it needs to be seriously modded. Read Big bucks.
I advise to just enjoy the smooth driving, cruising and work on a cool stereo.
Save ya bucks for getting something faster at a later date.

Larger throttle body, rising rate FPR will help that out.
Also get your injectors cleaned, check spark plugs, leads etc.
And a timing advancement plus running 98 octane all the time (if possible, I used BP Ultimate 98 with timing advancement) will yeild some good low end gains.
