View Full Version : Installing Lip Spoiler
I am planning to buy a Boot lip spoiler.
I have tried to search on the forum but could not find any relevant post which would tell me how much it could cost to get it fitted. Any suggestions to how much installation cost should I be looking at ?
As it involves drilling, I am bit a nervous about it.

I'm looking for an installer also!
Theres a company in SA who have lip spoilers unpainted, shipped to Melbourne for $85!

If it moulds around the shape of the boot, use the double sided tape from a bodyshop. That or the expensive 3m stuff, you can find it in bunnings at $10 per 2m
Not sure on drilling

Is that a possibility at all?
Very risky even if there's even a 0.01% chance.

It's fine. If your using the correct stuff. Again, if your worried go to a body shop supplier and get their stuff

What sort are you after, factory sx style, VRX style or aftermarket

Factory SX style - it looks fits to the contour on the boot.
I'd be getting the spoiler off eBay and wrapping it in black matte vinyl wrap, the problem I have is putting it onto the car - I'd rather get a professional who knows what they're doing to install it!

It is the genuine stelth black one, is painted not just raw plastic.
I am sure some of the SA guys do have a "workshop" day now and again and you could get some help to get this installed yourself then and save the $$
