Fresh coffee in one hand, market haul in the other - that’s how we do weekends here in Brisbane. From riverside farmers' markets to container-packed food havens, Brisbane’s markets are full of flavour, colour and character. Grab your tote bag and get ready to browse, bite and boogie your way through the best markets in Brisbane.

1. Jan Powers Farmers Markets

A Brisbane icon, the Jan Powers Markets are your go-to for fresh produce, handmade goods and seriously good snacks. With three locations  (New FarmManly, and Mitchelton) this market spreads the love across the city.

Bonus: Dogs on leads are welcome, so bring your furry mate along.

New Farm: Saturdays 6am–12pm | Brisbane Powerhouse 
Manly: 1st & 3rd Saturdays 6am–12pm | Manly Harbour, Royal Esplanade

2. Saturday Fresh Markets, Rocklea

This one’s a feast. Rocklea's Saturday Fresh Markets serve up more than 150 stalls of fruit, veg, meats, seafood, baked goods and blooms. Come hungry as there’s plenty to snack on while you shop.

3. The Collective Markets, South Bank

Tucked into South Bank’s Stanley Street Plaza, The Collective Markets are all about good vibes and one-of-a-kind finds. Think handmade jewellery, vintage fashion, art, gifts and gourmet eats. Your favourite market-find is waiting here.

4. West End Markets

5. Eat Street Northshore

6. Milton Markets

Sunday mornings hit different here. Milton Markets deliver farm-fresh produce, street eats, coffee and live music across more than 140 stalls. It’s a local legend for good reason.

When: Sundays 7am–1pm (Jun–Aug), 6am–12pm (Sep–May)

7. Riverside at the Gardens Markets

Set in the City Botanic Gardens, the Riverside Markets are one of the long-running markets in Brisbane and are the perfect mix of chill and cheerful. Browse fashion, art and food stalls, catch some live tunes, and bring your pooch along for the ride.

8. Nundah Farmers Markets

Rain, hail or shine, Nundah’s got your Sunday sorted. Come for the handmade crafts, flowers, fresh food and local tunes - stay for the community feel and creative flair. You'll be spoilt for choice at Nundah’s thriving Farmers Markets.

9. Brisbane Suitcase Rummage

Second-hand treasures, vintage finds and quirky collectables, all packed into a suitcase. This pop-up market is part bargain hunt, part retro adventure. BYO tote and good rummaging energy.

10. Redcliffe Farmers and Artisan Markets

Sea breeze, sunshine and market goodies? Say no more. Redcliffe’s buzzing Sunday markets are packed with fresh produce, vintage stalls, food trucks and beachy feels.

Need a midweek market fix? The Brisbane City Markets pop up across the CBD, serving up gourmet goodies, fresh produce and lunch-on-the-go. It’s market magic in the middle of town.

12. Rivermakers Farmers and Artisan Markets

Rivermakers Farmers and Artisan Markets, Morningside, Brisbane

Brisbane’s newest market is set to shake things up. Launching 21 July, Rivermakers will host over 150 stalls in a heritage riverside setting, complete with live music, family fun and nearby breweries. One to watch.
