The Curtain Fig Motel is a heritage style motel, centrally located in the heart of the historic village of Yungaburra on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands only a one hour drive from Cairns, North Queensland.

Your hosts offer a warm welcome to an affordable, friendly, cosy, country style accommodation where nothing is too much trouble.

The motel has six modern, well appointed rooms with reverse cycle air conditioning. There is also a deluxe spa bungalow. The motel is child and pet friendly (small dogs only), is licensed and offers home cooked meals in an undercover eating area or in room. Every room has a coffee maker, tea making facilities, ensuite shower and toilet, television, DVD, fridge, kettle and toaster. Salt water swimming pool on site. Please note pets are not allowed in the Spa Suite.

Centrally located, you can walk to the famous historical hotel, award winning restaurants, fascinating craft shops and platypus viewing. You can also visit waterfalls, crater lakes, the famous Curtain Fig Tree, and Lake Tinaroo.

The spa bungalow is located beside the pool. It has an enclosed, private veranda and a spa bath in the en suite. The room contains a queen bed, fridge, television and video player, two seater couch, table and chairs, kitchenette, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, electric fry pan, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

Family Room

Their Family room has one Queen bed and two singles (one a trundle pull out to maximise available space). Equipment includes fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, television and DVD player and microwave.
