Description: The Archerfield Wetlands Community Hub is a new, modern hall, located within the Archerfield Wetlands District Park at 455 Bowhill Road, Durack.

Pedestrian and vehicle access is via the entry gate off Bowhill Road.

The vehicle gate is unlocked and opened each morning to provide park and hall access to the public.

Entering through this gate, the road and pedestrian footpath continues past a playground on the right and ends at a shared carpark.

The carpark includes two accessible parking spaces.

A concrete footpath leads from the shared carpark to a large, covered area at the front of the hall.

At this venue all doors both internal and external are manual doors and are a minimum of 0.9 metres wide.

The external covered area has concrete flooring.

Inside, all areas have polished concrete flooring, except for the amenities which are tiled.

The hall is air-conditioned.

Entry to the hall is through a glass and aluminium door, a PIN is required for access using the black PIN reader to the left of this door.

The entry door opens into the main hall space.

The hall features an audio-visual system, including projector, speakers, and an infrared hearing loop system.

Floor to ceiling windows run along the right-hand wall and the front wall of the main hall space.

The front wall also features glass sliding doors, opening to the covered area at the front of the hall.

Sheer curtains cover the sliding doors at the front of the hall.

The hall can accommodate up to 100 people.

Immediately to the left of the main entry door is an archway which leads into the kitchen.

The kitchen includes a fridge with freezer, microwave, double sink, and a boiling water tap.

The kitchen also has a servery window that opens out to the external covered area located at the front of the hall.

The sink and some benches are not wheelchair accessible.

Further along the left wall, after the kitchen entry, is a set of green double doors that open to a table storeroom.

These tables fold down and have wheels to make them easier to move and store.

Chairs are stored in the back left corner of the main hall space.

To the right of the table storeroom entry is a green door that opens to a short corridor.

Entering this corridor, immediately to the right is a white door that opens to a unisex accessible toilet with left hand transfer.

The unisex accessible toilet has a duress alarm and has a baby change table.

Braille signage is located on the toilet entry door.

Entering through the unisex accessible toilet door, there is a green door immediately on the left which opens into a cleaning storeroom.

This concludes the tour of the Archerfield Wetlands Community Hub.
