There might be a small preassure drop after an intercooler (depending on the flow efficiency of the cooler), but I don't think it will be as much as 4-5psi.:)

Wouldn't water splashes on the turbo/piping cause it to shrink too fast and blow the silicon connectors off? (perhaps)? This is pretty cool. Kudos for doing something new and different.

Lets all copy him :P

there is a pressure drop due to the length of the piping the turbo wastegate is set at 7psi, and it was getting 4psi to the engine. we bumped it to 5.5 at the engine which means about 9.5 at turbo. we will be putting a boost guage on the turbo setting it at 13.5-14psi and probably get 8-10psi at the motor.

the turbo setup is very reliable and consistent. there has been no probs so far and it has been tested very intensely under my right foot.

With that ammount of preasure drop, are you exeirencing allot of lag?

I know with a mates R32, after revising the intake piping for the front mount to make it shorter overall, the extra response was imeadiatlly noticable. And that was with maybe just over a meter worth of less piping.

hmm i like the setup ideas very stealthy what about a water 2 air cooler under the car like the barrel 1's you guys know what im on about but i guess any cooler is going to lrob your PSI yet again.

PSI drop will allways be an issue for you with piping that long but yesh i have seen this on some US cars.

why dont you trying running the setup up near the gear more if you can alot closer 2 engine.
